Born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee, Don Ledford’s roots run generations deep in Bradley and Hamilton County. A name long associated with trust, expertise, and reliability, Don spent over 35 years in the automotive industry—beginning his career as a teenager working alongside his father at their family’s Pontiac and Buick dealership in 1981. By the late '90s, he had taken the reins as General Manager, and in 2001, he was instrumental in expanding the dealership’s reach with the acquisition of GMC and Cadillac. In 2008, the family opened a second location in Athens, TN, where Don served as Dealer Principal of Don Ledford Autopark, a Chevy, Cadillac, Pontiac, Buick, and GMC store.

Known for his sharp business instincts and marketing savvy, Don transitioned out of the auto industry in 2018 following his father's passing. Today, he owns a successful warehousing business—offering both commercial and self-storage solutions—and leads The Don Ledford Group, a real estate team known for delivering the same dependable service his name has long represented.

Real estate was a natural next step for Don. With years of personal experience in residential and commercial transactions, he brings a lifelong passion for property and an unmatched ability to bring buyers and sellers together. Whether working on or off the market, Don has a talent for putting deals together and getting things done.

The Don Ledford Group is truly a family affair. Don is the proud father of three daughters—Lauren, Caroline, and Julia Holt—and two of them now work alongside him. Lauren, his eldest, returned home after building a successful real estate career in Nashville and has been instrumental in growing the team and facilitating transactions. Caroline brings years of experience in both sales and marketing, offering clients an edge in today’s market.
